OPTML is a creative direction and motion design studio based inWashington, DC. It works with technology companies on video, animation, and the brand systems that hold them together.

The studio is deliberately small. Work is taken on directly rather than routed through account layers, which means the person setting the direction is the person doing it. That caps how much runs at once, and it is the reason engagements are quoted individually rather than sold from a rate card.

Engagements run either as fixed-price projects billed in milestone installments, or as monthly retainers for teams that need continuous output. Both are set out in writing before work starts.

The studio is founder-led. Creative direction, motion design, and client contact all sit with the same person.
